 Love IS

Now, they ask me

To write something on

Love

Maybe, for love

By, love,

With, love

But, I don’t know

What that might be?

Four-little-word

Starting with “L”

And ending with “E”

I still don’t want to guess,

What these characters would mean

How would they inter-play?

In hot summer days,

Or, cold winter wind

Grasping their tongue-and-cheek

Sleeping besides silent lake

And wondering pleasurable dreams

Kissing and hugging green

With never knowing

What it ever means

They might say:

“Love is sex misspelled.”

“Love is life.”

And, so on.

But, I wonder

And, as I lay

Sitting in my couch still wondering,

Let me say just that, that

Love is

In-between

A lover is dying

Waiting

Another lover is dying

Hoping

Few words are scribbled

And

Few remains missing

You’re Heart and Mine

Fewer girls go through a trauma

Of heart attack

But, More boys do–

And, if you suspect that they don’t have, a heart

You miss a great deal of wisdom,

(I say, you do)

It’s only a Great great

Combination that changes

Everything

A love(r) has got to do
